This suit protects against

  1. Accidents  -  high-visibility warning clothing class 3
  2. Rain  -  waterproofing and breathability class 3
  3. Flames  -  shell fabric will not sustain burning
  4. Explosions caused by electric discharge  -  conductive shell fabric
  5. Hypothermia  -  1 hr in ice water (-5 °C) - class D
  6. Drowning  -  when a lifejacket is integrated (see below)
